Our Tesla Model 3 rental cars has 70% - 100% battery at pick up and must be returned with at least 70% battery. If returned with less than 70% battery a fee of 25.000 ISK will be charged.

Tesla Model 3 is equipped with a 'Type 2' charging cable. Customers can use the cable to connect to charging stations around Iceland. Lost or damage to the cable will result in a fee of 65.000 ISK.

A type two charging cable is included as well as a charging key from ON to access charging stations. Therefore, renters should have no problems charging their rental car while driving in Iceland.

On the road we recommend using 50kW (DC or CCS/SAE) stations with the average charging time of approx. 30 - 60 minutes.
